Practice Concentration and Experience:
Ms. Wheeler’s practice is concentrated on complex commercial litigation and also includes a broad-based background including bankruptcy, banking, offshore banking, and securities matters.  With a Finance MBA, Ms. Wheeler’s practice has had a particular focus on financially sophisticated matters and financial institution representation.  Ms. Wheeler previously served as corporate counsel to a financial services company with hedge funds, broker-dealers, and capital markets operations.  She previously served as an attorney with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, a bureau of the U.S. Treasury Department.
 
Having successfully run for local office and served on municipal advisory boards, Ms. Wheeler also has government relations experience representing a non-profit organization, liaising with local government, and developing legislation.
