Practice Concentration and Experience:

Ashley Hudson is an Associate Attorney in Liles Parker’s Washington, DC office where she focuses her practice on regulatory health care compliance matters. As a Certified Medical Compliance Officer, Ashley helps clients implement effective compliance programs and provides counsel on mandatory state and industry-specific policies and procedures. Ashley also has experience researching Anti-Kickback, Stark, and False Claims Act issues presented by alleged tangible gifts and monetary exchanges in a large federal health care fraud investigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ashley served as the Chief Operating Officer for Exclusion Screening, LLC. In this role, she regularly interacted with clients and provided advice about PII and HIPAA concerns. In addition, Ashley prepared a fifty-state survey of exclusion screening requirements imposed by federal and state regulations; CMS and OIG guidance; and Medicaid provider agreements. She also compiled and presented webinars that focused on the exclusion screening aspect of an effective compliance program and prepared various articles analyzing the intersection of exclusion violations and False Claims Act issues.

While in law school, Ashley was a Dean’s Fellow for Professor Lindsay Wiley and prepared research memoranda on legal questions presented by the Affordable Care Act and various public health disparity issues. Ashley also served as the Senior Symposia Editor for the Administrative Law Review.
